Custom Framing
Our custom framing services allow you to preserve your memories in a unique style that compliments your home or office décor.
We have classic frames for you to choose in many styles ranging from natural woods to stained and satin finishes. If it enhances the artwork we can add a window mount board, and have a wide variety of colours for you to choose from.
Floating Frames
Floating frames give the illusion that the artwork is floating or hovering above the background board, or by floating between two pieces of glass. These techniques are ideal for water colours or artworks done on paper where it adds to the effect to display the edges of the paper.
Canvas Framing
The stretched canvas is placed into the canvas frame. The canvas sits comfortably in the frame, often a small shadow gap is left between the canvas and the frame. This type of framing gives a stylish finished look to any size canvas.

A Rich History
Village Framers has been the go-to for framing in the Rondebosch and Claremont community for around 30 years. We are constantly striving to perfect our craft.
Long time owners Barbara and Moira handed the reigns over to Kendyll in early 2024. She is now running the day-to-day operations. Moira, is a consultant, and has been with Village Framers for close to 30 years, her experience and expertise are unparalleled. Our team of skilled artisans includes our master framer, Godfrey, and Bernie who specialises in all things framing and assists with consultations. Pamella specialises in mounts and sporting memorablia.
